She completed her theological studies at St. Paul's Theological College in Grahamstown in South Africa, attended Union Theological Seminary in this country, and is continuing graduate work at Columbia University. She has conducted research for the Columbia University. She has conducted research for the Institute for Contextual Theology, an organization connected with the founding of the United Democratic Front.

His books include: From Mobilization to Revolution, The Rebellious Century, and The Formation of National States in Western Europe. He served as a director of the center for Research on Conflict Revolution and the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan.

Revolution and Social Change - Ray Bonner
8:00 PM – Sun Room, Memorial Union - Ray Bonner won the Robert F. Kennedy Award for his book Weakness and Deceit: U.S. Policy in El Salvador. He was a New york Times reporter and Pynter Fellow Lecturer at Yale University before winning the Latin American Studies Association Award. He has just published Waltzing with a Dicator: The Marcoses and the Making of American Policy.
