3:00 PM – Gallery, Memorial Union - A reevaluation of woman's place in society has been occurring in most countries, with women becoming more active-socially, economically and politically. This panel will explore the possibilities of women taking an even more active role in the developing world.
1. Eva Aspergen, from Sweden, is a graduate student in Food and Nutrition and has worked with the FAO in Africa.
2. Margaret Warning is a professor of Textiles and Clothing at ISU.
3. Regina Norton, program director of the YMCA, will moderate the panel.
4. Jane Larkin, who graduated from ISU last spring in Political Science, was one of the Midwest delegates to China this summer.
