POW/MIA National Recognition Day - Dwight E. Sullivan
5:00 AM – F-16 fly-by at 4:30 Central Campus Rain Location: Campanile Room, Memorial Union - Col. Dwight E. Sullivan an Air Force pilot in the Vietnam conflict was shot down by enemy anti-aircraft on October 17,1967. His target that day had been the rail yards at Dep Cau, North Vietnam, 18 miles NE of Hanoi. He was captured and became a POW until his release on March 14,1973 .
