Elizabeth Cooksey is an expert in the area of adolescent fertility patterns and has been active in the development of a highly regarded National Longitudinal Study of Youth). She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at Ohio State University. Dr. Cooksey holds degrees from Oxford University and Brown University where she received her Ph.D. in 1988. This lecture is sponsored by the College of Consumer and Family Sciences, the Miller Endowment Fund, the Institute for Social and Behavioral Research, and the Department of Sociology.

Stay for the entire event, including the brief question-and-answer session that follows the formal presentation. Most events run 75 minutes.

Sign-ins are after the event concludes. For lectures in the Memorial Union, go to the information desk in the Main Lounge. In other academic buildings, look for signage outside the auditorium.

Lecture Etiquette
