Arne Hallam, chair and professor in the Economics Department, will moderate this panel discussion by ISU faculty: Peter F. Orazem is University Professor of Economics and Director of the Industrial Relations Program at Iowa State, and currently Koch Visiting Professor of Business Economics at the University of Kansas; John C. Beghin is Professor and Marlin Cole Chair in the Economics Department, director of the Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute and the head of the Trade and Agricultural Policy Division at CARD with research focusing on agricultural trade policy; David Frankel is an Associate Professor of Economics and an applied economic theorist with interests in social problems and urban economics; and Balmurli Natrajan is assistant professor Anthropology with teaching and research covering different aspects of globalization. John Donaghy is director of campus ministry at St. Thomas Aquinas Church and Catholic Student Center. His areas of ministry and research include social justice and religious and philosophical ethics.Stay for the entire event, including the brief question-and-answer session that follows the formal presentation. Most events run 75 minutes.

Lecture Etiquette
- Stay for the entire lecture and the brief audience Q&A. If a student needs to leave early, he or she should sit near the back and exit discreetly.
- Do not bring food or uncovered drinks into the lecture.
- Check with Lectures staff before taking photographs or recording any portion of the event. There are often restrictions. Cell phones, tablets and laptops may be used to take notes or for class assignments.
- Keep questions or comments brief and concise to allow as many as possible.
