Jimmy Tingle proves comedy and the Constitution can mix with his one-man show which covers everything from flag-burning to the Maplethorpe censorship controversy. He appeared in his own HBO comedy special and a British television documentary on censorship "Damned in the U.S.A." which won an international Emmy. He also hosted a PBS special "American as Apple Pie." From the University Lectures Program archive.

Stay for the entire event, including the brief question-and-answer session that follows the formal presentation. Most events run 75 minutes.

Sign-ins are after the event concludes. For lectures in the Memorial Union, go to the information desk in the Main Lounge. In other academic buildings, look for signage outside the auditorium.
