Farmland

Documentary Film & Discussion with Farmers

Thursday, 23 Apr 2015 at 6:00 pm – Benton Auditorium, Scheman Building, Iowa State Center

Most Americans have never stepped foot on a farm or ranch or even talked to the people who grow and raise the food we eat. The documentary film Farmland takes an intimate look at the lives of farmers and ranchers in their twenties. Director James Moll looks at the this high-risk, high-reward job and passion for a way of life that has been passed down from generation to generation, yet continues to evolve.

A panel of farmers will join the audience for a discussion immediately following the 77-minute film.
