In this brilliant 1959 courtroom drama, lawyer James Stewart seeks acquital on a technicality for Ben Gazzara who is accused of murdering the man who raped his wife. Lee Remick and George C. Scott are also featured. joseph Welch, who gained fame for standing up to Joseph McCarthy, plays the judge. Otto Preminger directed.
