Adel A. Zakaria, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Engineering and Manufacturing, Global Agricultural Tractor and Implement Sourcing, Deere & Company.
Since 1995, Adel A. Zakaria has been responsible for leading and directing the Worldwide Engineering and Manufacturing Equipment Division for John Deere's agricultural equipment. A native of Cairo, Egypt, Zakaria joined Deere & Company as a staff engineer in 1976. Within Deere, Zakaria has held the positions of Vice President of Agricultural Equipment Division and Director of Engineering Diesel Engines and has developed a worldwide engineering group that adopted a common engine design across North America and Europe. Lecture Etiquette

  • Stay for the entire lecture and the brief audience Q&A. If a student needs to leave early, he or she should sit near the back and exit discreetly.
  • Do not bring food or uncovered drinks into the lecture.
  • Check with Lectures staff before taking photographs or recording any portion of the event. There are often restrictions. Cell phones, tablets and laptops may be used to take notes or for class assignments.
  • Keep questions or comments brief and concise to allow as many as possible.
