Ethan Burke and Alan Palm of BioTour

Tuesday, 11 Sep 2007 at 5:00 pm – Carver 101

BioTour is a full-size converted school bus that runs on vegetable oil, biodiesel, and has solar panels on top to provide electricity inside the bus. Ethan Burke, Alan Palm and the staff of the BioTour bus offer educational, interactive presentations about energy consumption and climate change, putting those issues in a context relevant to the lives of every American. Activities will take place on central campus throughout the day and end with the 5 p.m. lecture in Carver 101.
